Danielle DuBoise, a former model and actress, and Whitney Tingle, a reformed Wall Street financier, are on a mission to make you feel beautiful in your body and to empower you through food. Yes, please.

This mission--and their meal plan--is rooted in personal experiences. Danielle suffered from body image issues and lived the life of roller coaster diets, while the stress from Whitney’s job lead to weight gain and acne. They both sought a better way of living—and eating. And that’s how Sakara Life was born.

These days Danielle is also a holistic health coach and Whitney a yoga instructor. We especially love that they believe food should make you feel sexy. We asked these turn-your-life-around body loving wellness gurus how they get on top.

We hail from...

Sedona, AZ.

What our LinkedIn says we do...

Co-founders, Sakara Life.

What we say we do...

Help as many people as possible feel amazing in their skin through the incredible healing power of food.

Being a feminist means...

Understanding women.

Our digs are...

A bright, airy, sun-drenched loft in the heart of Soho, complete with a love nest, tons of tropical plants and an infrared sauna (yes, seriously).

When we say condoms you say...

Confusing.

What keeps us up at night is...

The dreams we have about Sakara. Dreaming big is an important part of being a founder.

We can't live without...

A fridge stocked with fresh Sakara meals and Beauty Waters…oh, and dark chocolate. And red wine. And the occasional order of French fries.

Our mantra is...

Food should make you feel sexy!

We get on top by...

Continuing to grow Sakara. Growing as founders, as a business, and the number of Sakaralites around the world.
